GROUP BALLOON FLIGHT – for family, social or corporate groups, from 5 up to 250 people on one morning

 Balloon Down Under has considerable experience in taking family, corporate, conference, meeting and incentive groups for balloon flights. One of the attractions of a balloon flight is that almost no-one has ever done it before and it is classified as "soft" adventure that can be done by everyone. The team-building and bonding experience of a balloon flight is an important feature that cannot be over-stated.

 

Ballooning in Australia is a very safe activity, with all commercial operations authorised and scrutinised by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. Our company has been flying in the area for 20 years and we have a 100% safety record over that time. Our pilots are highly qualified and experienced, and CASA licensed commercial balloon pilots.

We fly almost every day, subject to the weather being OK. So you can select any day - as long as the wind is not too strong and it's not raining we can fly. Ballooning is a weather dependant activity and if it is too windy or raining the flight would be cancelled. Make sure you have a Plan B to fall back to.

Our balloons take 5, 10 and 16 passengers and it may be possible to come up with a competition aspect between the balloons and their passengers. The 10 and 16 person balloon baskets are divided into compartments that take 5 or 4 people respectively per compartment. Everyone gets plenty of space and part of the edge to lean on and look out from.
